Built for the iPad cockpit

A cleaner way to keep the important things in view.

Flight Command is not trying to be every aviation service at once. It is being built to make the next cockpit decision easier to see, verify, and act on.

Offline first

Charts and data installed before flight.

VFR charts, IFR charts, procedures, FAA data, terrain, and airport diagrams are designed to be downloaded before departure and used without internet.

Terrain + performance

Aircraft-aware departure and climb context.

Terrain profiles and 3D views are tied to aircraft position, speed, altitude, and performance logic so margins are easier to understand.

Procedure overlays

Chart-based approach awareness.

Georeferenced procedure work is being generated server-side so the iPad can display overlays while avoiding unsafe chart placements.

Real app screenshots

Designed around high-workload moments.

Flight Command brings route planning, FAA data setup, takeoff performance, and chart awareness into a single visual workflow.

  • VFR and IFR chart families with offline install workflows.
  • Airport diagram layers where georeferencing is trustworthy.
  • Approach overlays skip when the server cannot place them safely.
  • Performance views stay connected to the active chart context.

Compared with other EFBs

Not a copy of ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, or FltPlan Go.

Those are mature, broad EFB ecosystems with deep feature sets. Flight Command is taking a different lane: a leaner, owner-pilot focused app that emphasizes offline data, terrain/performance awareness, and server-prepared chart overlays.

Flight Command is supplemental aviation software. Pilots remain responsible for required FAA publications, aircraft manuals, weather decisions, and all regulatory requirements.

Area Large EFB suites Flight Command focus
Product philosophy Broad ecosystems for planning, filing, weather, logbooks, documents, and avionics workflows. A focused cockpit companion for offline charts, terrain, performance, and clear pilot decisions.
Offline use Established apps support offline chart/data workflows with mature cloud services. Offline availability is a core design rule, with the server doing heavy package preparation first.
Terrain and performance Terrain, synthetic vision, and performance tools vary by product and subscription level. Terrain profiles and 3D awareness are being tuned around aircraft state, climb performance, and warning priority.
Chart overlays Some EFBs include geo-referenced plates, procedures, and airport diagrams. Server-side georeferencing prepares airport diagrams and approach plan views before the iPad downloads them.
Best fit Pilots who want a large, proven, all-in-one EFB ecosystem. Pilots who want a lean, readable, safety-aware cockpit tool with strong offline behavior.

Limited release

Built carefully before broad rollout.

Flight Command is moving toward a limited release after feature work freezes and testing focuses on reliability, chart installs, airplane-mode behavior, terrain warnings, airport diagrams, and approach overlays.

Follow the Release
Stability first No new feature sprawl after the current testing cycle. Trustworthy data Skip overlays that cannot be georeferenced with enough confidence. Practical cockpit UI Readable charts, fast interactions, and clear status messages.
